Memories Restaurant in Northam – well what can I say, it’s just fabulous – easily my favourite place to eat in the area. I know I have written about it before in my post Loving Memories Restaurant but I am still very much in love after dining there on Friday night with friends who had never tried the Memories experience . . .
Everything was delicious and homemade; everyone loved their food. I’m not sure there’s much more I can say about the restaurant so I’m going straight into what we ate! Oh and the presentation is always beautiful and unique.
To start. I enjoyed trout gravlax with mini fish cake balls and a generous wedge of lemon. Everyone else couldn’t resist the squid dusted and lightly fried, breaded king prawns presented with a mini jar of tartare sauce

For main. I decided on sirloin steak with sweet potato chips; garnished with onion rings and garlic stuffed cherry tomatoes, cooked rare and to perfection – just how I like it. Again everyone else couldn’t resist seafood turbot fillet, queen scallop and king prawn ravioli and asparagus in cream-white wine sauce

For dessert. I shared a date, ginger, sticky toffee pudding topped with a butterscotch sauce and served with ice cream. The only other dessert was a raspberry crème brûlée
