As I sit here enjoying a cup of delicious cup of coffee I decided that my Christmas coffee machine really decided a post dedicated solely to its deliciousness. |
Before Christmas I spent a lot of time investigated whether to go for the Nespresso or the Nescafé Dolce Gusto. I like 2 extremes of coffee, just black (no sugar) or milky style with half teaspoon of sugar. So I chose the Dolce Gusto mainly for the following laziness/ease: it could do Lattes without the need for a separate milk frothing machine plus if we don’t have any milk in the fridge (quite normal for us) the capsules just take care of it!
So my parents bought us the Dolce Gusto for Christmas and after 2 months of using it we love it as well as the delicious coffees it makes. In the morning (or any time of day) I get to choose from an Americano, Café au Lait, Latte Macchiato or Cappuccino but after a long weekend run I treat myself to a Caramel Latte Macchiato. However worried we might get too addicted in caffeine we also have Café Lungo Decaff.
So if you’re after a convenient, easy and tasty coffee machine I can well recommend the Nescafé Dolce Gusto.
Oh and the pretty spotty cups and saucers in the pic were a top Christmas present from my bro, perfect to enjoy my coffee!
PS Recently I realised I am a drinks snob as it’s not only coffee I’m fussy with:
Wine well life is too short to drink bad wine, as they say!
Orange Squash must be Robinsons Sugar Free
Tea PG Tips and Yorkshire Tea is my favourite
Lemonade I actually prefer the cheap value type, always half glass soda half glass lemonade at the pub
Water you can’t beat my home town water straight from the tape

whoops–sorry! I was thinking that they were two different styles of the Nespresso–mainly, I guess, because all I ever hear about is the Nespresso. But, I’m glad to know that Nescafe has a good product on the market, as well 🙂
Hey no problem I appreciate you have taken the time to comment. Many thanks
Glad to hear you like your Nespresso. I have a neighbor who loves hers, too!
Hi there
Thank you for your comment but I have a Nescafe Dolce Gusto not a Nespresso!
Although I’m sure any coffee machine which meets individual needs is fabulous and I’m glad your neighbour is enjoying good coffee.
