This is a very belated post – but better late than never! Last week we were treated to a meal cooked by my brother, it doesn’t happen very often, as a chef the last thing he feels like doing on his days off is cooking. But we were treated along with my parents and friends to Scallops, Pork Fillet and Dauphinoise Potatoes.

To start… Pan fried Scallops Served in a Cream and White Wine Sauce with toasted Brioche Complemented with a chilled glass of Spanish Cava |
For main course…
Fillet of Pork covered with homemade Apple Sauce wrapped in filo pastry
Served with a Creamy Wholegrain Mustard sauce and Dauphinoise Potatoes
Complemented with a glass of Spanish Rioja or a chilled Chardonnay depending on preference
It was just simply delicious, what more can I say…
